My brother is looking really hard at this rifle, SS 30.06 , Accu stock and trigger , box mag. Any one ever have or shoot one . While I dont personally own a Savage the few Ive shot or borrowed were tack drivers,

I have a model 16 in Remington 260. Like all my Savages it shoots great.

I have one in 243 that shoots into 1 inch at 200 yards with prefered handloads.

I also have one in 243 cal. , it loves the hornady 100 grain spirepoint bullets. Very accurate and will take groundhogs and deer with this load.
