Hi Ed tonight supposed to be -20 with wind wind chill -30 to -40  other than that nothing unusual

The folks down  where the lake effect blows got about 6 feet a couple of weeks ago. not much up north here, a foot or so. Have fun,Mtrude

Spencer:  a friend of mine in Ogdensburg (Oggiesburger to some of us) sent me a couple of those pictures of the road crews clearing Rte 481.  Incredible!  Back in the late 90s I had to spend a couple of days in Oggiesburger and just managed to get past Pulaski before the snows came in - they got 56" of the stuff in 4 hours that night.  A doctor followed me up about 2 hours later and had to follow the snowplows because he just couldn't make it otherwise.  The next day a nurse drove up and the sun was shining and it was lovely but she said she couldn't understand why all the cars were off the road.  She was from Virgina.  

You will be amazed at those pictures (when they get posted).  Mikey.

It's starting to warm up,down here in Sullivan County.The birds yesterday told me we might have an early Spring,boy I hope so cabin feaver is getting to me.

Man it sure looks nicer for later this week plus the weekend. I am dusting everything off and heading for the range on Saturday and stay till dark sunday. Not really but I sure will be there when it is 50 out. I hardly remember what 50 feels like outdoors.

Bubba, fifty's this weekend will feel great, but the 60's and 70's a couple of weeks ago sure felt better! :grin:

Where was that RCL???  In New York????  Geez, I thought the mid-fifites in the capital district area was pretty good but 60s and 70s - sure wish I was there.  Mikey.

I had 7' thats feet of snow in my driveway 3 years ago.My snowblower laughed at me.2 years ago I was spring turkey hunting and the snow was comming down like a blizzard.Last year in spring turkey it started to rain like he!! We decided to call it quits when 6,thats six long beards start walking towards us.I had my gun up waiting for them to take about 5 more steps when lightning struck the tree right behind them killing one and scattering all the rest.Thats the first time I felt lightning that close.
Who says the wheather is bad in New York,It just changes alot.
