Axis deer

Where is a good place to go east of the Mississippi river to hunt Nice axis deer? Recommendations?

Prolly Florida. I think it is maybe the Brady Ranch but there are several exotics places in FL. One of them supposedly has the largest herd of fallow in the world and same place has no shortage of axis to look over either. Huge herds of both on the place.

When I lived in East TX , there was open season on them. They out competed white tails.  I'm not sure now
