Chicago twice as deadly for children as Newtown
« on: January 04, 2013, 05:53:29 AM »
With all the "we have to do something" hysteria focused on the school shooting at Newtown, Conn. no one is talking about the fact that Chicago, with some of the most draconian gun control in the nation, sees more than twice as many kids killed by gunfire in an average year. Since 2008 Chicago's best year saw 42 children killed by gunfire and a total of 270 in five years. This source is the very liberal "Huff-Post" which is very quick to point out that 70% of the Chicago victims are black but never bothers to mention the strict gun control which failed to prevent the shootings.

The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.
