I have recently inherited a winchester model 58 .22 bolt action rifle. It came from my grandfather who I lost last month. Unfortunately, the handle on the bolt is missing (looks like it stripped out). Its not in great condition and I doubt its worth replacing if we were strictly talking $$. However, the fact that it is such a small rifle and that it was my grandfathers makes it a perfect "first rifle" should I ever have a son. I'm not looking to break the bank but any ideas where I could hunt down a replacement bolt or find a smith that could weld a new handle on?
Thank you
