one barrel cut off to one dat be a chamber insert for shot gun

I had a .357 mag. a few years back that I reamed to Max and that was the most accurate Handi I've had, but I got a little too wound up in the Handi fever and sold the barrel to someone on this forum, and have kicked myself ever since. :'(
I now have my now favorite .45 LC carbine that I reamed to .454 Casull and it's close to the .357 maxi in the accuracy dept. but not quite.   Also my 45-70 gets a lot of love also. ;)
I've got this thing now about big heavy slow bullets that punch gaping holes! ;D

My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

Yes, usually better because the GBO reamers are PTG rifle reamers which cut a 6º ramp into the lands at the throat which is an improvement over the factory abrupt lands.

My factory Maxi doesn't do well with 38 Special shooting cast bullets. It's decent with 38 Special jacketed loads, though. I killed a red squirrel off hand at 35 yards with the factory open sights and a 140 grain jacketed 38 Special. That's accurate enough for me with 38's.

walmarts around here have .357 handis in sb1/plastic stock/scope rail flavor. i sure am tempted. i'd rather have open sighta, but i reckon i can add those. what say y'all?

It cuts a 6º leade into the lands as opposed to a revolver cylinder reamer that just cuts a chamber.
