Shooting people and hanging them for freedom of expression.....

Everyone here is very unamerican.  You all just said that you oppose the rights set forth for EVERY individual in the constitution/bill of rights.

I believe that is treason.  I also believe there is no arguement against what I am saying.

Life love and the pursuit of happiness.

Stepping on a flag doesn't get in the way of that.

Killin someone does.

So does that mean you are all guilty of treason for being against what is set forth in our American constitution??

Because remember... the people that don't like guns think this way about us; and they want to take our guns away because we do things they don't agree with.

I happen to thing people who fight against the second amendment are guilty of treason.  But that is just me.

So according to you - what the teacher did was acceptable , since both behaviors are rather similar in their intent.

It's acceptable to me if the teacher is against everything America has become with the anti-GOD government,  the condoning of abortion, gay rights, gun control, government health care, coddling of muslim  terrorists, and so on and so on.
Then ,,,yes ,, it is acceptable.
BTW-Is it accepable to you to always defend the country's flag?
If so , then it's a good thing you and I didn't live back in the 1770's
Because I might have put a hole in your pretty red coat!

I was referring to a post that asked who would fight to keep their guns if the government were to outlaw them and come to get them.

you have every right under the 1st amendment to accuse me of treason.
I have every right under that amendment to call you one of the chickens who cower under your bed when the time comes to rescue that flag from our communist government.  If these were different times I would have shrugged off what he did, but he may be influencing young people to think that stomping the flag is now acceptable behavior and those attitudes is what's wrong with our country today.  Your attitude of not allowing me to express my opinion without accusing me of treason is akin to the idiot in the whitehouse accusing conservatives of being the enemy and clinging to our God and guns.
And if we can't express our opinions, whats the purpose of a political forum.
If anything I might be guilty of a bad choice of words. But treason? NO.
And UNAMERICAN,  UNAMERICAN is accusing people of treason for expressing an opinion. Would you have me locked up like in Iran or the old USSR.

OK, but that doesn't explain to me how fighting for my rights means that i'm fighting against my Nation's flag.
Fighting for my rights is fighting for what my flag represents.

For me, as an American, it's my duty to defend my country's flag. Not only did i take an oath back in 1974 to do so, but every time i placed my hand over my heart and recited the pledge of allegiance i made a promise to do so. I take both VERY SERIOUSLY.

It's acceptable to me if the teacher is against everything America has
become
That does not give him the right to disrespect my country's flag.
There is NEVER a time when it is acceptable for any American to deface our Nations' flag. She never does anything to deserve disrespect. It's the people that live under the freedom that She represents that come to deserve disrespect by going against what She stands for and represents.

I will repeat myself TM7.......

was he a serviceman?
TM7, Would you please explain why you ask this question ?

what was the message in his lesson plan ?
The message that he gave loud and clear is that he has no respect for my country's flag.

did he break any real law?
As much as i would love it to be...Unfortunately, it is not against the law. But it's not about "law", it's about respect. Respect for what She stands for. And more importantly, about the respect for those that have given thier very lives to defend Her and what She stands for.

Honestly TM7, it just saddens me that you just don't get it.
And that very type of ignorance is exactly what is the cause of the deterioration of the very fabric of the United States of America.

Meaning = In America ,, that's "NORTH AMERICA"  ,,better yet for you to understand =the 13 colonies.
Would you still defend your countries flag?

First off if you want to call me a coward, I live in Seward, Alaska.  Come on up and say it to my face.  I'm your huckleberry.

Second of all, I say that if you fight in opposition of the constitution of the United States of America - such as killing any person because of their beliefs, you are guilty of treason.  (Treason being commiting a crime against the state - laws of the state being the constitution)

Express your opinion as you may.  I don't mind opinions.  You can say how bad of a person he is all day.  But I have a page of people saying they should shoot and hang and kill him because of that.  And that sir, is unamerican.

Disagree?

Well I believe the right answer to this lies in the quote "cold, bloody fingers."

This so-called "teacher" dispises the very country and laws that allow him to be in a classrom.  He hates the "system" that allows him to have the oppurtunity  for education, advancement, the chance to have a car, home, food,  cell phone, 501 jeans, a flush-comode and all the other things he takes for granted.  He lives in a country that allows his strong-arm union, which, virtually dictates terms to the taxpayers.  If (and I so hope ) he is brought up on charges, he will hide behind the constitutional protections he has all but publiclly urinated on.
As a veteran of over 20 + years in service, I fought to insure clowns like him get the same protections as the people who love this country.   I would volunteer to escort him to court and make sure he gets there unharmed.  A-hem, now if he were to get convicted and sent to the pen, I'm sure the warden has a few deviant-degenerates that need a new "celly."   ;D   I'm sure they would make teach feel very welcome.  ;)

I don't need to fight to prove I'm right, I don't need to be forgiven, no, no, no (from the song ‘Baba O'Riley’ by The Who)
