What is a 54 Black powder TC hawken worth

A buddy has a T/C black powder Percussion hawken with a set trigger and is in 90+% condition, Factory rifle not a kit.
He wants to sell it and I want ot pay him what it is almost worth but do not want ot over pay.

I would call $300 a fair price for a .54 TC Hawken in 90% condition (excellent bore/no cracks).

in the condition described, if you want it to keep & use for yerself $300.00 or maybe a bit more(dependin' on how good a friend) would be a good price. if yer wantin' to turn it over $200.00 or so would be much better. my opinion & yer welcome to it, bubba.

Same thought here. The 1" hawkens sell a little higher. I wouldn't feel gypped at $300. Same goes for $250 for a 15/16" 50 hawken. Neither one is an outstanding deal. But not a bad deal either. 250 might be  a good middle ground for both of you if he isn't going through hard times.
