Republican leadership reappointed Michele Bachmann to a seat on the House Intelligence Committee.

I almost peed my pants and fell out of my chair laughing. Using the term Michelle Bauchmann and intelligence in the same sentence is the greatest oxymoron I can could ever think of. But hey maybe now they can begin a Joe McCarthy style investigation to find all those subversive democratic Communists in the house and senate.....or even better root out another Huma Abedin type as a cell plant agent of Islamic extremism with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

What a nut Job.

No wonder TEA party membership has fallen to an insignificant 8%. Com'on Boehner and GOP , There are so so many more well qualified people in the party . You could have done so so much better. Quid pro Quo I guess for the 23 million she raised for GOP coffers.

I had the best nights sleep in a long time knowing Michelle "root out all evil Muslim Communist hunter"was helping to oversee our U.S intel community reviewing our most sensitive intel documents and making appropriate recommendations to SASC.

Causell - She is nuttier than a fruitcake and truly off her rocker , if you think she is not bat@#$ crazy, well to be honest I just don't even have a comeback for that.

Apparently too many here are ignorant of what happened during the presidential campaign.

Even the liberal new talking heads had little to attack her with as when they spoke to leading figures on Capitol hill looking for dirt, all they found was she was very intelligent and well respected on both sides of the aisle.

Of course when one has nothing intelligent to say based on facts, I guess this thread is what results.

Michele does a better than average job representing my interests.

I certainly want these Muslim extremists rooted out. Michele is willing to look for evil and willing to reveal what she believes she has found. She is neither prosecuter nor judge nor jury, those she exposes have their time to refute her findings in court. Hell, in retrospect Macarthy has been found to have been largely accurate in his accusations as well.

If the shrill harpy Pelosi is allowed a public voice, there is no reason to deny Bachman a voice. I'm from Mn. so the voice is natural to my ear now, as is that of Sarah Palen.

Television can sell Snuggies and Chia Pets, as quickly as they sell the idea Tea Party members are extreamists. I would be careful as to how much validity I give to television news / opinion hucksters.

This is certainly NOT the most socialist time in US history. In the 1910s, for instance, the Socialist Party of Oklahoma was one of the most entrenched state governments out there, and it was a powerful arm of the American Socialist Party. As far as I can tell, they fell out of favor by campaigning against US involvement in WWI.

When she goes on her crazy A$$ searches and comes up with the results she does, is it somehow setting you back? By your assertions she finds nothing and is wasting time and money and whatever else you can come up with, fear mongering yea that's the other thing, she foments terror in the hearts of men. But doesn't she find nothing? Having found nothing should it not reassure people?

If the left is able to have and keep Nancy Pelosi, I think we can and should have a Michele Bachman. They are a nice balance to one another.

The point was Waterloo is not famous for John Wayne. It's unfortunately infamous for Gacy.
