While researching golf ball cannons I found this trove of information, your forum!
I want a black powder GB cannon bad. I have found a couple from different sites but would like your advice as to where to spend my money to get the most "bang" for my buck, and a quality cannon with good advice..
So lets have it gang.

sorry- no cannon experience from me
unless you count acetylene charged driveshaft
cannons shooting red shop towel wrapped
tennis balls. (very long time ago)
and tater cannons.
