What distriutor had the 35 Remington guns/barrels ?
« on: January 12, 2013, 03:15:21 PM »
I REALLY want a 35 remington barrel but do not know where to look. I see where some are selling stocks from recently purchased guns and wondered where to look or if this was off something someone got from an earlier run. Thanks

.357 mag barrels are easier to find.  You can send a frame to Illion for one.

thought about that Pete, but isn't the .35 an easier job? and can be done by hand where the .357 needs to be done on a lathe? if i'm wrong here let me know. if the .35 also needs a lathe then the easier to aquire barrel makes alot more sense.

cwlongshot did his .35 Rem barrel by hand.....but....ya gotta remember, he's a very careful and meticulous person.  If you're a klutz like me, you wouldn't do it.  I don't even do mags to maxis myself ::)   I'd take it to a gunsmith or a machine shop.  Besides, what's easier, reaming a .35 barrel you can't find or a .357 you can ??? ???
