.22-250 and friends....

Greg and a couple buddies took a Saturday afternoon break from college studies for some shooting fun, good stress relief... ;)  He got some tannerite exploding targets for Christmas, a good chance to play with his new rifle, H&R .22-250...

He also took along his H&R Sportster .22 that was his first rifle at nine years old...

Add in his first shotgun earned by mowing grass and picking stawberries, a great day of shooting fun...

There are good kids out there, sometimes I think it's o.k. to brag on them... 8) ....Thanks for letting me!

There are lots of good kids out there... shootin' times with our kids are some of the best times to be had! They deserve (and need) some "braggin' on..." good for you.

Ain't it so!
We just got a short 'thank you' letter from our middle grandson (17) for us always 'being there and giving him inspiration and respect'; its enough to bring a tear. I dont quite know where he got his odd sense of humor and hard-eyed stare......... ::) .
In spite of growing pains it is true,"Bring up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old(er) they will not depart". Goodonya for raisin' some gooduns!

I just keep telling myself that all those 22lr my g'kids shoot are a solid investment.

It is great to teach kids how to handle, care for and shoot firearms.  I started my boy at eleven on a NEF 410 single shot and apparently he is a quick study because now at 29 years old the Air Nat. Guard let's him shoot a 20mm vulcan cannon (embedded in his F16). 8)

I had the privilege of shooting rifles with my nephew when he was young.

He is now 15 years into his career as a USMC Scout Sniper. I can't keep up with
that shooter any more.  But it is fun to try, and learn from the master shooter.
