BSA 8X32 opinions

I am thinking about picking up one of these for a remington 597 that I recently acquired.  I think the size will work well for what I want it to do, I am mostly concerned with BSA quality and clarity.  I always try to find inexpensive options, but dont want a "cheap" scope either.  Thats why I bought a gun with no scope vs the package gun with a small scope.

Does anyone have this particular scope and would like to give me their opinion?  how about a comparable scope from another manufacturer?
