« on: January 15, 2013, 12:01:04 PM »
i have known about this issue since i bought a nexeus 7 one year ago... google said they did not support JAVA script?  security was lacking an it was not safe to use...i did not take it a a lethal threat till i was hacked and damaged .

do a google search on JAVA script .... they say disable the software, but i deleted it from all devices.
Oracle says they are working on the problem.

The problem is the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from Oracle, not Java Script (which is a different thing entirely, they just have very similar names).

I agree though, removing / uninstalling it is the best approach unless you just have to have ot for something.
