Versa pack 410/22
« on: January 16, 2013, 12:07:15 PM »
A guy on this site has an H&R listed as a Rossi....it appears to be a versa pack to me.  I already have one, so if someone is interested.....

I donno Ben.  Barrels look too long.  Rear sight on the rifle barrel doesn't look Versa-Pack.  I don't see a release lever and the forend doesn't look right.

Rossi uses the same release lever as H&R.  Rossi has the "safety" on the left of the receiver.

Zoom in on the front sight or the bead.  Both are GIGANTIC, so it's a VP.  ;)

The front sight doesn't look quite right either, but I can't really see the sights that well, especially with that color background.

But, that calls into question, that the guy that owns the gun, doesn't even know what make it is?  That is just unbelievable.

I would also be interested, if it was a VP, but I already have more than one.

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

Good spotting Ben.  I guess the guy's illiterate and couldn't read the engraving. ::)
