Do a search for hunting and shooting sites. you will come up with a few. Don't think any of them are as good as this one though.

It just depends on what you're looking for.  If you're looking for serious killers, particularly archers, bowsite.com is worth a visit.

 1.  Hunt Forum   2. Hunt Chat   3. Cabela's Talk Forums.  4. Shooters Forum.  5. Varmint Hunters.  I don't think you will find any more info on any of these than you will on GBO. I check all of these daily and always come back here if i have a question or something to sell.

I find others when I am looking for something specific, but have not found any I really want to keep going back to.  This is just the same way I find a Ford truck forum when I have a specific problem, but don't stay there all the time.

One of the others you mentioned always goes into pages of name calling and trolling with very little meaningful info or entertainment involved, so I seldom go there except for looking specifically at elk hunting, Savage 99 stuff, or a specific topic.  People here are pretty civilized, even when there is a strong disagreement.
just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not watching you

sad but true
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Mine was empty until very recently but some of the more pompous asses on this site are becoming more than I can tolerate, for example comparing people that dont swallow his poltical patry's agenda to neo nazis. Even now it is still an exclusive list as there are only 2 fine fellows on it.

To answer the OP Marlin Owners is a pretty decent forum that has a very similar feel to this forum. Archey Talk for bowhunting, Trad Gang if you are into traditional bowhunting. Backwoods Home Magazine's web page also has a forum with a variety of interesting topics.

Obviously you've never visited. I understand, of course--- they don't fit the stereotype the right puts on them.

Thanks for all the responses , also seems like a stirred up a hornets nest and I did not mean to do that. As I said I started with Graybeard 9 or 10 yrs. ago it's a great site I have made many deals on it. Now I am retired I have more time on my hands to buy sell trade ask questions. I know there is no site as good as Graybeard but there is other good sites out there.
Thanks Trapdoor
