Bad haircuts
« on: January 17, 2013, 07:43:33 AM »
It's been a long time since I got a bad haircut, but there have been four I can recall. Right now, I look like like a Pomeranian dog with a beard. This is going to take a while to clear up. I laugh every time I look in the mirror. Others are being polite.

The most noteworthy haircut I had was when the barber took way too much off the top and I had what was nearly a bald spot. That took a while to clear up.

The other two were at a chain called Great Clips, where they don't really employ barbers. They employ relatively unskilled people. Never again.

I haven't had a bad haircut in 15 yrs. I just shave my head and don't worry about it.

Ya,  I can't get a bad cut anymore just take it down with the clippers. ;D  Tried to grow it out but it bothers me so bad it all comes off.

If it's long enough to look like a Pomeranian, you've got no problem.  Just get a shorter "do" (buzz cut works).

I don't shave mine, but my wife takes the electric clippers and bzzzzzzzz for about five minutes and I'm good to go.  she does make me grow it out for cruises though.

off topic.  Shu I tried twice to send a pm, one time it said I was forbidden.

I can't get a good haircut either. Can't find a good mulletologist anymore. What's so hard about "business in front, party in the back"?
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

You think you have it bad. My hair is so thick it burns up clippers and dulls scissors !  When I was a teen I just gave up on it and it grew down to my waist. I looked like Chewbacca from Star Wars !

Same here. My girlfriend is an excellent barber but she has it easy when she cuts my hair, just buzzes it all off.

Anna, you may have or had long hair, but you certainly bear no resemblance to Chewbacca.

My barber and friend passed away this past summer. Haven't found a good barber since. The wife has been taking care of the head lately and between her eyes starting to go to catching her in the right mood, it's been a crap shoot. lol I always "look" like I need a hair cut anyways. Short enough to lay flat and no white sidewalls----with a convertable, no hair cut stays in place.
At 72, who cares anyway.
