Tom: I don't think so. I hae checked out that rally and so has my attorney and we can find only one link to it and no updates since that link was posted. This was scheduled before cuomo's legislation was to be signed as a protest against his proposed new law but I have seen nothing more about it since.
Also, one individual who posted about the rally suggested all ccw holders attend and wear their ccw sidearms in plain sight - this is patently illegal. CCW permits or licenses require you to carry concealed unless hunting, at which time you can carry openly. In addition, the City of Albany has a code on its books that prohibits the carrying of firearms, even ccw firearms, without the approval of the police chief and he hasn't given anyone approval for anything like that.
I would be very wary about going into albany for something like that as it may well be a set-up. If there is a rally, which has neither been well posted or spoken to, I would not doubt for a bit the albany bulls will be cruising the crowd either looking for or trying to start trouble and it would make our cause look very shabby if a bunch of ccw permit holders got busted in the capitol for carrying - almost make us look like we were trying to overthrow that fascist greaser the lib/dems call a governor.
I think there stillmightbe a gun show in albany though, the last weekend of the month, unless the greasy politican they call a mayor for that dump cancelled the show.. have to check that out.
