Steel shot in Pardner

When I was up buying ammo today I grabbed a box of 20 ga #6 without really looking at it. Got home and saw it was steel shot, is this stuff bad to shoot in the pardners?

Modern H&R/NEF shotguns are good for steel shot, there may be some restrictions on shot size as mentioned in the previous thread, you can always call H&R for peace of mind, toll free (866)776-9292, always best to ask for Lisa Walters.

Thanks Quickdtoo, I'll probably just hang onto them as I have plenty of #6's but its good to know I can use them if need be.

Please do check with H&R before using any of the steel shot. I have been told on several occasions to never use Steel in full choke or tighter. My Remington Nitro Mag came with modified choke only for this reason.

I have been launching steel all season through my full choke 10 gauge.  Oh well.

Walmart here has a pile of 20ga steel that hasn't sold very well, so I'm watching it to see if they mark it down for clearance.
Then I'll buy a bunch to build the stash for my NEF 20ga modified.
