Yep.  Lanyard pulling a Lock (purchased from DGW) firing a .22 cal round from my Ramset nailgun.  Works great.

Looks very nice!  In looking at the first photo, the smoke seems dark grayish color instead of white.

Might be the camera or lighting.  I did not retouch the photo (other than a crop).  The charge was black powder wrapped in aluminum foil with dead grass as a wad.

Sorry, I know more about guns than photos.   ;D

Maybe the lighting, maybe the dead grass.  Doesn't matter, I just found it interesting.

As of yet, there is no official GBO BPM&C 2013 Calendar.  Previous calendars have not sold to the extent that anyone but the provider has profited from them.  Sometime back, I proposed doing a downloadable calendar that you would print locally but there was no great interest voiced regarding that option (there were two photos submitted.)

So, last call for a 2013 downloadable calendar.

GUNNUT in Iowa,
Where did the police chief go? I thought that was a very smart proactive measure. Your photos give great views, especially the "fire."

Good show, Mr. Michie.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.

Good show, Mr. Michie.

I got to thinking about it and decided I should edit the photo.  I did not have his permission to post his photo on the net.  We are good friends and I did not want to take the chance of spoiling that.

"Proactice measure", yeah I guess that is what you could call it.   ;D   Without going into specifics, I will note that I called our 911 Center prior to the shoot.  Let's just say they recognize my voice.  Anyway, just as we were finishing the night shoot, two officers came out.  They said they heard it from the Police Department.  The 911 Center advised them it was probably me.  They came anyway - good officers.   ;)   Distance from the Police Department was approximately one mile - still inside the city limits.  I won't quote the Chief here, but it was funny what he told them to put in their report.

All of the good photos from the night shoot were clipped from video my wife was shooting.  It was extremely difficult to get the timing correct for the still cameras.  We had four of them.  It was odd to view the video - completely dark, but you could hear us talking - THEN you could see stuff!

Thanks for the comments.
