Very true.
One thing I would like to see banned from protection is any form of disrespect for our flag.
I will continue to try and kick the A@! of anyone who I see spitting on, walking on, cutting up or burning our AMERICAN FLAG!!!
This is the first thing that should be banned from being able to do under the protection of the first amendment!
Makes me sick to see anyone doing this.
I was lucky enough to not have to go on my senior trip to Nam back in the 70s.
They did away with the draft just weeks before I was to report. (Thank you dear LORD!)
I would have gone but I sure didn't want to!!!
I lost several friends over there and saw what my brother became after he returned from his tour, a complete alcoholic for the rest of his life.
So many gave their life under that flag that no one should ever be able to show her any disrespect what so ever.
If you feel the first amendment gives you that right then I trully feel sorry for you.
Call me old fashion or call me what you like, I really don't care.
That is your right under that amendment and I will respect that but don't pull that "it is my right" stuff when it comes to the flag of the UNITED STATES.
I didn't have to fight for her then so I guess it may be my time now!!!
