The problem with the cheekpiece is that it's right behind the pistol grip. Must have been made for a child or someone who needed a short length of pull. If I try and put my head on it the lenght of pull is way short, if I put my head where I would on a normal stock, toward the butt end the cheekpiece is right in front of my jaw, I don't think shooting it like that would be enjoyable. The rifle has a set of Pedersoli soule sights on it so at times I think your holding your head off of the stock, don't know about this, Ive never shot a gun with a soule site on it. I'm thinking of just cutting this extra chunk of wood off and forming the stock, still have time though won't be taking it out for a few months yet.Thanks guys for the replies. Peter
