Contender vintage

Hi, i'm a Contender rookie and am wondering if someone can tell me when a frame was made with the serial number. The gun i'm looking at has serial number 2586XX.......my name's Mike

By the list that was on the forum at one time it was made Jan- June of 1985 starting SN. for that time was 256526 and ended with 265000. July started with 265001 and ended Dec 31 with 273800.

thank you sir.......the gun i'm looking at is a 14" 35 Rem with that frame and the seller wants $450.....is that in the ballpark?
