They look like a fun gun. Anyone own or shoot one?

Don't own one yet but will as soon as things calm down in NYS.  Local dealers are waiting in line to get decent products to sell.  I am on waiting list at several gun shops for the LCR .22 LR and LCR .22 mag.

I found one at a local gun shop and will pick it up next week. Some range time will be followed by a report.

My son just bought one.  It has the laser grips  ... guess it came like that ?  He said it was new.  I shot a couple cylinders through it. It was misfiring , about one round per cylinder.  He was using Winchester white box ammo , believe it was a .22 solid.  We switched to CCI , not sure which he had , it then shot all without a hitch , and a lot tighter groups.  It was surprisingly accurate with the CCIs.  It was day , couldn't see the red dot , so was using the sight.  Seems like a nice gun.  Hope you enjoy yours.

I was VERY tempted when I learned it was offered in a 22M... then I learned it would be only 6 rounds... Now I am on the fence.

I did finally pick up this great little revolver. My range time was limited because of difficult winter weather. My buddy and I each shot 4s round at a 10 yard target. The results were near 3 inch groups near the point of aim. The trigger pull is long but smooth. No misfires using the CCI Minimags. The CCI ammo is the most reliable. You can blame nearly all misfires on the less reliable Remington and Winchester ammo. I once shot a case, 10,000 rounds of CCI with out a single misfire. It is the only rimfire ammo I will buy.

I did buy one last month and am very impressed with it so far.  Added a LaserMax laser sight for less than $100 and now it is able to do what my old eyes have found difficult to do.  With trifocals and cataracts in both eyes, I am still able to see the red dot without a struggle.  Have used many types of ammo and all have worked fine with a couple better than others.  Trigger pull is a bit harder than a LRC .38 special I have shot but perhaps after a couple more bricks are shot in the .22 it may loosen up.  I definitely recommend this to anyone interested.  High quality, accurate and made by Ruger that should say enough.

It's tough to find a reliable .22 revolver at a decent price.  With the LCR, the design is high tech and the quality is there at a good price.
