The congressmen sitting on that panel are part of the same congress that cut the state department budget.

The congressmen sitting on that panel are part of the same congress that even today wont release funds already approved to the state department and allow them to be transferred and reallocated for beefing up security overseas.

If congressmen sitting on that panel were looking for culprits responsible in aiding and abetting in the Benghazi tragedy congress and those on the panel should have looked in the mirror.

It is my understanding that previous testimony was given under oath indicating that money was not an issue in this case. I wonder what the price tag for logging a million miles and traveling to a 112 countries would amount to? I know that her position involves travel  but they must have gotten the money for her somewhere.

This may seem a bit cold however, I think the biggest share of the blame for this failure should be on the ranking State Dept. offical in country. Amb. Stevens should have pulled all his people out when his requests for protection were denied.  For that mistake he paid the ultimate priceand took three others with him.

The new terrorist president of Egypt has let Obama know that he expects cooperation and the first order of cooperation was to be the release of the blind sheikh from prison.  For that plan to be effected, Ambassador Stevens was supposed to be captured by the local muslim brotherhood faction.  The president of Egypt would then offer his services to arrange a trade--Amb. Stevens for the blind sheikh.  The whole thing went in the ditch when the ex-seals refused to stand down and allow Stevens to be taken.

The issue is whether or not there was an air asset with a Pave Penny pod capable of engaging the mortar crew that Ty Wood was illuminating with his laser designator. It doesn't matter how much was spent or misspent else where if the POTUS wouldn't allow the attackers to be engaged during the election. The sky could have been darkened by Predator drones loaded with missiles, but what does it matter now if they were ordered not to engage?

That is what matters. It mattered then. It mattered during the POTUS election. It matters to the families of those that died because they were not given air support. It matters because it involves telling the truth rather than running with a lie for weeks that it was all about a movie that wasn't seen by any of the attackers. It matters because the man involved in that attack was also involved in the recent Algerian refinery attack. It matters to those of us that wore a uniform and had a code of 'NO MAN LEFT BEHIND'. How about Semper Fidelis to that? Don't leave your combat troops out to die because it would inconvenient in an election. That is what matters now. If throwing out trite Latin phrases is in vogue; what about Sic Semper Tyrannis Curabitur Semper Fidelis[Always faithful to the quote ever thus to tyrants]? It matters in that we have a POTUS that is now ruling by fiat and mob rule of what is current on FaceBook, and has long since abandoned the rule of law.
