New Glock 22 ejector problem...
« on: January 25, 2013, 04:13:36 PM »
I just got my first Glock.  Model 23 Gen4. About every 6th or 8th empty case ejects and boinks me on my forehead. Is there a fix for the pistol or do I need to get o different forehead

 :D maybe your best bet.

Seriously if it is only occasional it my be your grip. I have a 36 that will stove pipe on occasion. but its me loosening grip and wrist. I get away with that with my 21 but the smaller lighter 36 is not as forgiving.

I'd say check the ejector but if it was kinked every one would boink ya!

I think you're right about.the.way I grip the pistol. It hasn't happened in a while. However my daughter shot.a few times the.other day and almost every one of the empties hit her on top of the head!

More than likely its the way your holding the gun...

Try/experiment with a little firmer hold, I'll bet the gun is twisting in the grip a bit. Then it knocks your noodle and you inadvertently firm up the grip and it stops until you do the same thing again and it repeats...
