FA 97 45 ACP

Does anyone have an FA 97 with the ACP cylinder?  Do you find it to be accurate?  Is it ammo sensitive?  Does it shoot well with typical hardball like Winchester white box, UMC, or American Eagle?

Thanks,

I personally don't have one but have seen them described as extremely accurate every time someone says the twist rate won't stabilize the lighter bullets. I'm sure someone with one will chime in here soon.

I have had a 97 with .45ACP for several years and it shoots everything very well. I am currently shooting some 200 gr. handloads and at 25 yards it shoots into one ragged hole. I have not found any bullet weights from 200 to 230 gr. that is does not shoot well! Also the samw for .45LC.

I've got one with both cylinders.  I've never noticed one being more accurate than the others, or had need to adjust my sights when the bullet weight stayed the same.  200, 255, 225 grain bullets all have the same point of impact with either cylinder.  I don't believe you would note a difference yourself, and if you did it would be pretty darn miniscule.
