I was needing a spare mag for my Rock Island and having trouble finding mags anywhere.  My son just called me and he picked me up two Wilson Combat mags with bumper pads for $15 apiece. A friend's wife had used them in competiton shooting and no longer needed them. It's little things like that that can make a bad day turn good.

Thanks Sharon. Seeing what they are bringing on Ebay I'd say I got a pretty good deal.  Plus it doesn't hurt my feelings knowing that these have been used in competitions and proven themselve's 100% reliable.

Yep and she was sponsered by Wilson Combat so I'm betting these will be some pretty nice mags. My son will be delivering them to me this weekend. I'm ordering new grips and a new holster this Friday so looks like a spare mag carrier will be added to the list. Here's the grips I chose and the holster;

Thanks Sharon. With me being a disabled Vietnam Vet, and it being a 1911, they just seemed apropriate. My son actualy found them for me. He felt the same way.
