Welcome to the Obma-nation
« on: January 29, 2013, 12:51:44 AM »
Took my wife to an appointment with on of her specialists on Friday.  He's one of those doctors who is very much in demand, very capable and very disgusted with Obamacare.  He is ticked at many things which comprise the plan.
Firstly, he will be forced to treat many more patients, and the increase of which will be non-payers. Being forced to attend perhaps 35% more patients in the same time period...each patient will have about that percentage less of the doctor's time and care.  He also is angry about the way his current retiree patients are being treated...since funds are being filched from MediCARE  and dumped into MediCAID, while the MediCARE patients are paying the same or more premiums.
Worse yet, and this applies to all patients...  If  Billy is 79 yrs old and his cardiologist decides he needs a heart bypass, the government "death panel" may very well refuse his doctor's request.
On the other hand, if Miguel, who just sneaked into the US two weeks ago, comes in for a "freebie" bypass..he'll get one.  The doctor can.t even ASK if Miguel an illegal !!   Makes absolutely no difference that Billy has 79 years worth of "skin in the game" and has been paying into the system all of his working life!
I guess when he said he wanted to spread our wealth around, he meant all around the world..  Of course, there just isn't enough to go all around....so you get three guesses as to WHO comes up short!
Your first two guesses don't count..

If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

my orthopedic told me pretty much the same thing, and he's about as busy now he can handle.
if illegals pile on, quality care is out the window.

There.  Now you are beginning to see the difference between Medicare and Medicaid, yet all the damn politicians say that we have to control medicare costs when it was medicaid all along.

Obamacare however will simply foster a two tier health care system:  mone for those who have insurance and Medicare and one for those who have only mediciad = the medicaid/obamacare recipients get gov't services - those who have health ionsurance and medicare get a better deal.

And yes, any doctor with a damn brain should now know that obamacare is worse than medicaid could ever think about being yet they are about as stupid as they were when medicare and medicaid first came out because it is those who put into the system for their entire lives who will lose their lives under the obamacare death panels.  Really a shame but doctors should stay doctoring and keep their stupid mouths shut when it comes to politics.  Nobody ever said doctors were smart, they are just doctors.

Mikey, not sure about the doctors you go to, but none that I have went to in the last couple years was for Obamacare. I had a hip replacement last July, the doctor that did my hernia several years ago, and my family physician, all said the same thing. None of them were for Obiecare. gypsyman

BTW:  Michelle Malkin says the Doc can ask...but we also can ask... "where's your subpoena?"  or "Am I under some kind of oath?"
In other words, they can ask but we don't have to tell !
