I bit the C&R bullet today (swede lahti)
« on: January 29, 2013, 10:49:31 AM »
Its tougher to pass them up when i see them.  I grabbed a swedish lahti manufactured by husqvarna in 9mm para.  In excellent condition with a bright bore and a holster with three mags, plus the cleaning rod was hard to pass up.  Any lathi owners out there?

I need to do pics i'll see if i can get my camera working. I wasn't looking for one but when i seen it was a husqvarna i couldn't pass it up.
It arrived yesterday and its awesome.  Its robust and heavy than i thought it would be.  Its all matching numbered, came with three mags, holster, take down tool and cleaning rod.  I ordered the lanyard and oil bottle from e-gun parts to complete it.

If you don't get around to a pic--at least let us know how it shoots--I have thought about one of them for some time.--By the way--how much did it set you back?

I have one I bought years ago when SOG was selling them. I've never gotten around to firing it, but I often don't shoot the rarer ones for fear of breaking a part that I won't be able to replace. They're big heavy pistols for sure. Not something I'd have wanted to carry around every day on my side.
