Need/Want 39A

OK Otto and Bams just to get you guys started.

Any idea about how much a 'decent' 39A is going to cost me?  Well used and worn is OK with me.  Just not banged up.  At the gun shows I have been to the used ones are too close to new prices ($300-$350) to buy and I don't want a new one.  Pawn Shop?

Thanks,

Dave :-)

Type in 39A.  Or you could stand OUTSIDE gun shows and grab guys that are carrying them in and make an offer. I have bought several guns that way..................................OTTO

PS You could join a gun club , go to their range , see who is shooting one.  Find out his name, keep an eye on the OBITUARIES and when he croaks, Offer his widow $150 as you offer your condolencses

ALso pawn shops are iffy

Otto's advice sounds good to me.  That's exactly what I do when I need to get some idea of what the "market" is doing with a particular firearm.  Doesn't always work, but when it does, it's sweet.

OK then,

I'll just take another patience pill and keep the cash close by.

Howdy>> I am a Pawn Shop Junkie I guess. Around here they are Gun & Pawn.. Last month I saw an excellent 39A for $235 in a small town Gun/Pawn shop.. I went back the next few days to buy it but it was gone.. Before that I did get a Mountie made @ 1979 for $150 but I knew the owner. You need to hound them frequently and have the cash in your wallet.. As the saying goes "Study long, study wrong". Mosst of the time they cost from $250 to $290 asking price in good condition but you can bargain with them.. Cbagman
