just finished my single six project gun. It started as a pre warning 6 1/2 gun. I polished the grip frame and ejector housing had one buddy whos a machinist shorten the barrel to 4 5/8s. I recontured the front sight into a post Had another buddy do an action job on it and Scott Kolar Donated a set of burl mesquite grips that a guy ordered for a colt copy that stiffed him for the money The grips wouldnt fit anything so Scott gave them to me. A little work on the grinder and they fit the gun like a glove. Then i had a third friend jewel the hammer and trigger. It sure made a pretty little plinker.

No need of a picture. I can see it in my mind, what with your description. One thing, only. You polished the ejector rod housing! Assuming it was aluminum, that would be exotic. Mine has a steel housing.

its aluminum. Sure am proud of this one. I payed $75 for this gun used about 5 years ago and have no other money in it at all and it looks as nice as some of my customs[/code]

Lloyd, You can use a film camera and take it to be developed and put on a CD to load in the computer. Sounds like a nice job.

Someone on a forum showed a picture of a revolver he carefully laid on the glass of his scanner, it looked great....
