I have a 336 in .35 caliber, gold trigger and full lenght magazine tube with a 20" barrel .
Does anyone know which model of the 336 this is, ex. 336 A, or 336 RC, etc. thank you

If the only designation you can find stamped on the rifle is 336, then that is what it is. Marlin made thousands of 336 rifles with no letter designation.

Gold trigger does not have any special designation. Until you ask a gun dealer at the gun show anyway. No, really, in the booklet that Marlin sent me, they even have it in writing that gold triggers are used in many models and many years, that no special designation exists.

I used to like it on my 1982 336 30-30, but now with it all tricked out and camo stocks, I wich it didn't have it.

Need to know what year your rifle is? My guess is its a 336C.

A gold trigger isn't necessarily original either. I sent an 1895 back to the factory with a cosmetic blemish in the sandblasting of the lower frame that I didn't notice when I picked the rifle up. When they sent it back the trigger had turned to gold.
