well, i took the plunge

cabin fever got the best of me.   so i quit my job, ordered me a sluice box, and i'm going to try a few rivers and streams i have access to.   

  alright, so maybe i didnt quit my job.    ;D    but my oldest son has shown interest in geology and seeing as how he doesnt have an interest in hunting, i figured i'd encourage him and at the very worst, spend some time with him outdoors.   i've been doing research online, watching videos, reading up on the laws, e.t.c., and picked out a sluice box.    when it warms up, we are going to try it out.

way cool , even if you don't get rich -  your relationship with your son will be richer for it.
any day hanging around a stream and not a shopping mall  is a good day.

i sure will guys.  i expect to find a big ol' pile of nothing, but like y'all said, i am hoping to ge some quality time with my sons out of it.   and if i do, i'll consider myself a winner.
