Local store has a new 30-06 Ultra that they added a Bushnell Trophy 3x-9x scope and a leather sling, all for the low, low price of $539!. If I count correctly, it's a $250-275 rifle with a $80 scope and a $12 sling. That's about a $340 - $370 package to me. Tell me what I'm missing here.

Well I know what I'm missing the a six # salery..I find "some" people that are well to do are in a hurry .. They want to walk in and walk out and go hunting ..I call them the NOW people..

The first thing that attrated me to the H+R/NEF rifles, was the low price, well that guy just took all of the appeal out of these guns. For $539.00, I would expect to own a couple of these guns, and have money for ammo. I guess they must be fans of W.C. Fields who said, "Never give a sucker an even break."

I think I would have had to ask the guy where his mask was, if he is going to rob someone he should cover his face. On the other hand it is his shop so he can do whatever he wants. Is all of his prices that high? :roll:
