WEATHER IN N E
« on: February 09, 2013, 12:41:13 AM »
I came here today to seek first hand info on the storm in New England---How folks are doing---what's going on up there.
Instead I find the usual trash talk and no information on my friends who live up there.
Blessings

Damn people. How dare they talk about things other than what you want to hear about.

    Don't know about other people but where i am we have 15 or so inches of snow. The damn village has all the driveways plowed shut. I live on a circle. All the houses are on the outside of the circle. Not a thing in the center of the circle but grass. They will not plow the snow into the center. >:( More fun to plow driveways shut i guess. Might be spring before i can get my crippled old butt out. Western NY sucks.

Here in Central NH we have about a foot of snow with more falling. cold temps are keeping the snow light and power outages have been minimal to none. William: Don't know where your friends at but I would be glad to check on an area since I have friends in most States in the Northeast.

Not much here in central NH, about 15 inches or so. My sister lives in western Mass near the CT border and they got 28 inches. My mother lives in the northeastern part of Mass and they also got over 2 feet.

About 40 minutes south of me on the ME/NH border got close to 3 feet.

William;
   It didn't hit very hard here..maybe 1&1/2 feet of snow..they got hit a bit heavier in the north of Buffalo & Niagara Falls area.
  The videos I saw on the TV, looked like a rather average winter storm day here in the "snow belt" areas.  Of course , New England cities are not accustomed to the same quantity of snow as we are..

  It shows some photos from our blizzard of '77...
