Declaring that “God laughs” when soldiers die, the controversial Westboro Baptist Church issued a flyer on Tuesday proclaiming that “God Almighty” had former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle ”in his crosshairs” and “executed perfect wrath.”

“The Lord was not kidding when He declared, ‘Thou shalt not kill,’” the flyer says before declaring that Kyle’s murder was “beautiful.”

“God is the Master of irony & abhors bloody & deceitful men. (Psa. 5:6.) How beautiful & perfect then that Chris Kyle should be sniped by a fellow soldier! Praise God!” the church announcement added.

The folks at Westboro need to stay home. Funerals are not the venue for this. They need to get some class and let folks grieve.

JIM. I hope you are right. Those people are pure scum, they certainly don't represent God. They are a cult, not Christians. I hope they get a class A butt whiiping and the cops turn their backs. THey are a hate group. POWDERMAN.

I just wonder how many people would show up at the Westboro "church" with picket signs if one of thier members died. Wonder if the Westboro people would call the police and complain?

That was my initial thot also Jim. But the truth is , SEALs have far too much class and self respect.
I've attended far too many Military funerals and y'all wouldn't believe the low life things that these scum do and say. I once had a state Trooper stand very close to me because he could see that i was gettin close to losin it. He waited until he was sure that i reached my end and walked over to me and calmly said.." relax, i retire in 3 years and then it will be me behind the mask ".

I get your point. I would not protest anyones funeral nor would I disrupt a church service. Would you?
I don't approve of abortion as birth control, I disapprove of the homosexual life style (we shouldnot beat them with sticks) I disapprove of Obama, I approve of and support the constitution of the United States.
 
I would go fishing,/hunting with just about anybody on these forums, that doesn't mean I agree 100% with anyone. That doesn't mean I would be there enemy either. It means we are humans with different points of views. That is what helps make conversations interesting.

Okay I will try with the following analogy:  Suppose you had a child who had a habit of picking their nose in public.  Would you hate the child or the child's actions.   Wouldn't you attempt to correct the vulgar action by explaining to them that picking your nose was not the proper thing to do in public?

NOBODY, except an extreme low life would picket ANYBODY'S funeral. Thats disrespectful and disgusting. Those scum should NOT be allowed within 500-1000 yds of a funeral, unless it's their own. They may have the right legally, but somewhere right and wrong should take precedence over legal. I still hope they get a butt whupping. I don't give a rats crap about their RIGHTS, what about the right of the family of the deceased?? Don't their rights matter?? POWDERMAN.

SEALS are known for and trained for very strong self control, the ability to turn it on or turn it off. I do not think any of them will put a hand on any of the Westboro bunch because the Westboro bunch would love nothing more for the publicity it would get them and the SEALS know it. Now what I would like to see is each SEAL that attends to do a slow walk by looking each protester in the eye with that look of "you better always be watching over your shoulders here on out because there will be a better time and place and we do not forget.

I don't know about other states, but here in Pa, they aren't allowed within 200 yards of the funeral home or the church. They must obtain a court approved permit to protest and that permit comes with VERY STRICT guidelines. For instance, it dictates the exact times that they are allowed to assemble, where they are allowed to assemble etc, etc. Any violation of the permit results in the imediate arrest of the entire group.
 I was with PGR at the funeral of a murdered PGH Policeman and they showed up.They were in thier van and leaving the area after thier permit expired. One of them opened the vehicle window, yelled an obscene remark. Pa state Toopers imediately ran the van down and arrested everyone on board.
