Does anyone have experience with this scope? I am looking to purchase an inexpensive scope for my Rem 597 22lr and I don't want to drop a ton of money. I am not looking to purchase a Leupold, Swarovski, Nikon or the like as my budget for a rimfire scope is low. I want to buy a cheap scope...When buying a centerfire or shotgun scope I spend more but this is only for a rimfire. Thanks for any input you may have regarding the Bushnell 22 Rimfire scope.

Its a nice scope for fimfires. It does have a lifetime warrenty and comes with rings. ITs a good value for the money.

Whitetailer, I put that scope on my 1022. For a scope that inexpensive the optics are decent.

 Only real problem with the scope wound up to be the rings they are JUNK! They sprung when I tightened them down.

 Bushnell would have made good on them but I didn't bother shipping them back seeing I had another set from another scope. I should have but they wanted me to sent everything back including the scope. They were going to pay for shipping both ways, but I borrowed a boresighter and wanted to get it mounted right away.

I mounted it a month ago but haven't had a chance to shoot with it yet. I'm sure you can relate to this "the too damn cold, windy WNY winter". This weekend sounds like its going to be cold, windy and snowy again. Looks like its going to sit in the safe for another week.  :(

I ordered the scope last Wednesday...I should have it Monday or Tuesday.  I can't wait to mount it on the 597.

Str8shooter...I live in NT...Apparently not too far from you as you are in Tonawanda.

str8shooter48 Did the rings that came with yours have a skinny metal plate that tightens down? If so Bushnell has improved the rings. They are a lot better than the old ones.
