I hesitate to even throw this out there in the context of bigfoot but in the interest of full disclosure...

In my study of demonic possession I've come across a few (supposedly) historical accounts of possessed persons disappearing in full view of others. These occurrences were sometimes accompanied by a stench so putrid that people in the immediate area would vomit.

I don't have any links to these accounts as I read them in books, but I imagine some are out there on the internet if anyone's interested.

I know they always evade my deer cameras.. :)

Of course they do.  The camera's would have to be pointed in exactly the right place and at exactly the right time plus there's nothing to trigger the camera.

Totally explains it. Makes me feel better about walking alone in the woods too, knowing even if one comes after me, I don't have to defend against it since it won't be there. I feel pretty good about that.

These beings have never shown any intrest in harming anyone.  They are everywhere you just don't always see them.
Actually, you are wrong. If you do a little research you can find several stories about bigfoots attacking people, physically harming people, damaging property, and in at least one case I know of actually killing someone. Now I don't believe any of it, but just thought I would pass the information along. Also, if you are not going to add anything even remotely constructive to this thread, nor answer any questions with an answer other than just because you said so, then why even post in it.

Only a fraction of the accounts are real but they are real.  They've never shown any interest in harming anyone.

Yes, BF, like most other creatures, has no interest in harming anyone.  There are stories of BF leading lost children out of the woods.
When I had my sighting, the BF made no agressive moves.  It was clear daylight (about noon) and we were stone cold sober.  We ran, NOT because of anything the BF did.  We ran because we were frightened, but we did not feel threatened.
I should feel very sad if the only way to "prove" (prove as in by scientific standard) the actual existance is the intential downing of one of these creatures.  I hold out hope of live capture and a later release.  I do understand the way of science and the standards demanded.
BTW, Investigators have told me I give a very well constructed report.  With a little over 20 + years in the US Military (now retired), they taught us how to observe, remember and make a proper report.  I was a 4.0 in college and a member of the National Honor Society.
Why God (yes I believe in God) allowed me the privledge of seeing BF I do not know.  I believe in Satan too.  I've seen how God works.  Unfortunately, It's so much easier to see how Satan works.

I don't need to fight to prove I'm right, I don't need to be forgiven, no, no, no (from the song ‘Baba O'Riley’ by The Who)

They know when something is out of place or new in the woods.   For some reason even my pets in the house know when something is moved or new added in the house right away they will go and sniff it.   So why not BF too.  I find that mountainlions are very very elusive so why not BF too?  It took me many years to finally see a mountainlion at night after seeing its tracks in the snow.  The night we seen it the very next day it was on the ridge above my camp growling at my son who was outside gass'n up our dirtbikes.  When i heard it too i stepped out of my trailer and when it seen me it left never to be heard or seen again.  I figure as the mountainlions are breeding there expanding from the higher elevations into the lower elevations into the populated areas more and more.  Since no predator hunting is going on there seems to be more and more of them.   That brings us to the BF situation i'm sure in the future sightings will be on the rise too.

Used to be interested in the BF legend 25-years ago, and have recently took to it once again. Being a avid big game hunter really makes you think about this subject when out hunting, as here in Northern Ontario the is so many thousands of square miles of untouched wilderness. No I've never witnessed this myself, but the possibility is a reality. Just 3-4 years ago here in Ontario (Canada) our Ministry of Natural Resources made a statement to the media reguarding many claimed sightings of Cougars. They clearly stated, Cougars were not present and were simply mis-identified animals, and the only possibility of them were released illegally owned cats, an will not survive. 2 years ago the Ministry went before the media once again to admit they were wrong and that yes Cougars are present and breeding in Ontario, only after so many claims it was DNA that was collected and tested to proove them. The same thing can be said from other hunters just a few years ago as many would scoff and laugh at the existance of Cougars in Ontario, their tone has severly changed since then. Until BF is scientifically discovered there will always be skeptics that laugh and ridicule others on such subjects. More than 100 species are discovered every year on earth, many disappear as well. Love following BF related articals.
