Anglo-Arab relations have always been rather one sided and strained in the past, our British cousins colonialism was the main cause. Palestine was the area that now is Israel, Jordan, and Syria, the bulk of it being in Syria.
The Turks ran the area for long time, Jews were welcome there, to buy land and live. in peace. The Turks however were allies with Germany in WW1, and when the Brits, (Laurence of Arabia) conquered the area they
stayed after the war like they always do.
The Arabs who fought with the Brits were rewarded with land, they were nomads, and countries were formed. The Jewish bankers financed the wars and Britain delivered a country in 1947.
The Palestinians lost the war with the Jewish immigrants and were in effect put in reservations, are they good people, if I look at what they did to Lebanon, who gave them shelter when their fellow Arabs in Syria drove them out at gun point, I would say no.
IMHO, they should lay down all weapons, and open resorts and casinos on the coast, clean up their act and join civilization.
Do a Wikipedia search on Syria & Jordan, countries since after WW1, look up Lebanon, a country for 7000 years
