They get so many perks I don't think a freeze on pay would be effective,but term limits might. If what has been recently reported is accurate, the perks also include friends and family the ability to land  positions of high paid lobbyists.

I have wondered about amending it to add and cripple the entire Bill of Rights.   Except, they probably want that.  My thinking is that maybe it would make middle of the road types think.
