Want the lightest bear defense gun ever made... thinking of a .700 JDJ in a Super Light .680 O.D barrel... should be lighter than air!

I think it would work, IF you reamed it to 0.670 groove diameter.

the bullet would go down the barrel like a mouse goes down a snake.

I've seen it on TV, I think it was Yosemite Same who had a rifle so chambered.

it worked fine for him....

Wayne York sent me this about reboring dimensions "The minimum barrel OD at the muzzle is .200 overbore, i.e.;   a .308 barrel must have an OD of .510 in order to go to .358."

Well, that went over like a bomb... they apparently did miss it George.
Been cooped up by the Canadian winter, thought I would throw out a "spoof" of the magnum bear defense rifle threads that are going around, for comic relief...
As in; 0.700" I.D and 0.680" O.D = "lighter than air."

Up heres about in the nort woods we dont have those fancy grades they gots in the cities down south... after 7 or 8 years in grade three we is workin' the timber or under the ground chuckin' ore.
