Handi in 22-250 unfired?
« on: February 16, 2013, 11:44:05 AM »
Found a handi rifle in 22-250 unfired with a 4x16 Banner scope. Price is $335 firm. I had a Remington 700 in this caliber and still have loaded ammo, dies, bullets, powder etc for it.I like the caliber. Are these reasonably accurate in the Handi rifle without a bunch of tinkering? I could use a large predator rifle to go with my Sportster 17HMR. What do you guys think?

I like them. Some suggest you load 45 to 50 grain bullets. Others have had success with heavier bullets. If your brass is once or more fired, it may still work in the Handi. Handi chambers with some calibers tend to be generously sized.
