Second amendment rights, do you care?
« on: February 16, 2013, 04:34:01 PM »
Curios how you might feel DURING this time of hope and change! Feel free to say why and expound and elaborate, but I understand some are also scared of losing their right of free speech. This will run for ten days. (or until it is locked  ::)  )

That would be the time for the president to be made irrelevant by the second amendment.

Those afraid of losing their right to free speech, should be equally afraid of losing the right to own firearms. The 2nd amendment is what holds all other rights in place. If our right to own arms is taken, do people really think they will still be able voice their opinion, especially if that opinion is different than the ideas of the centralized state.

Yes.
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

I believe and support the complete Constitution and Bill of rights. The Bill of Rights was added to protect  you and I, the people  of this country, The 2ND Amendment was written to allow us to protect all the other rights guaranteed us.  We have the courts to decide if laws are in violation of our rights, but many in the courts have the same agenda as our Dictator so they do not give fair or correct rulings. When that happens the only recourse is to enforce the 2n Amendment and take our freedom back. It is a very serious event. I fear few will step up.

George Washington didn't give me my 2nd Amendment rights, nor did the founding fathers, nor did the Constitution. God gave me my rights, plain and simple. God will take them when he sees fit, but I haven't as of yet, received any correspondence from God on the matter. So with that determined, I assume my rights, the 2nd Amendment included, are still intact. They may be under attack, but not from God.
God tells me to obey the law of the land, as long as that law is based on "Biblical Principle". When it gets away from that "Biblical Principle", then I am no longer bound to it. I haven't seen much "Biblical Principle" comin out of DC, in quite some time, so I know where to get my info on law now. There's a lot of hand wringin goin on right now, but I for one am not one of them. Their gonna do, what their gonna do, and I'm gonna do the same.

I also by the way, didn't vote in you poll. Ain't nobody's business what I intend to do.

no President can take away my Second Amendment rights. First they are God given. Second no executive order can negate the Constitution or any part of it. Executive orders are illegal. No one can find anywhere in the Constitution where the executive branch is granted such power. It does not exist. The Senate has never had the guts to tell a President NO. It will take a finding of the Supreme Court to rule all executive orders void. Until then, we stick to our guns, literally.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't "W" start that BS, you know an executive order making mothers day a national holiday, or making it illegal to not thank a Veteran for serving would be nice , but from what I have seen we can't trust these guys no more than the Russian people could trust Stalin.  :o

Americans are buying guns in record numbers and ammo is flying off the shelf. I don't think the majority is for hunting and target shooting . It would seem buying these guns is more a vote or political statement than threat at this point. It would seem the American people want guns and don't want that right infringed on. Their wishes are known , their arsenal is filling and their commitment is becomming solid. Talk is cheap , most Americans are not buying the BS on guns. So it would seem a bad time to push an agenda in opposition to the American people. It could be political suicide .
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
