What Peep Sight for a Seneca?
« on: February 17, 2013, 06:15:22 PM »
I recently bought a .45 Seneca, having old tired eyes, want to mount a peep site on it.   The Thompson sites, which are no longer made, cost an arm and a leg.   It will be used for plinking and hunting.    When hunting I plan to remove the eye piece for a larger site opening.    Thanks for any suggestions......

I'd like to know the answer to this one too.  I have looked and have yet to find one that mentions being suitable to a Seneca/Cherokee.  Maybe if replacement tangs were available, I would find something I could adapt in some fashion, but as of yet...

Well, the right one from Thompson Center is #7196 (for both the Cherokee and Seneca).   They come up for sale now and then.

One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

CoyoteJoe posted an excellent idea for a peep on another thread. http://www.gboreloaded.com/forums/index.php/topic,211558.msg1099131048.html#msg1099131048
