Good for you Byron. I'm glad you finally did. Patty is one of those pre-retirement mentality folks too. Now she has three secretaries to do her work and all she's got to do is check it. She still can't find time to do much more of the things she likes. I'm hoping things will improve this Summer. I've got an urge for a new camper, and I want to use it.
While you're in Atlanta, you ought to look up Richard Elliott, AtlLaw. However.....Don't let him get you involved in his shim manufacturing process. As a retired man-of-the-cloth, you probably will disapprove.
On the other hand, I've taken a few pointers from him
For some reason, I forget exactly what they were
I've been retired for over 10 years, and I too wonder how I ever had time to work. I do a lot of the cooking, laundry, dishes, honey dos, shopping, etc. plus taking care of the farm critters, dogs, chores, fences, etc., etc. Patty still works. But, I still don't have the time I want to shoot a particular rifle out to 300 or build a plinking load to 30.
I just want you to know that your sense of Humanity, Fair Play, Honesty and Objectiveness has reached far beyond your pulpit. You're a man of integrity....a beacon in a world of corruption and dishonesty. I, for one, honor you. Enjoy your new life. your family and your Honey most of all....she's been there with you.
