i would like to rebarrel a lft handed tikka into a 257 weatherby. my question is can this be done with just the cost of the barrel. i have a 300 win mag to use as the action.

Don't have the book here but check case length. If the 257 is close should be ok. It may require tweeking the feed lips a bit but should work fine..
