Good for Uncle Joe. He probably doesn't know a double barrel shotgun from a cannon, but anything that comes from this administration that is positive about guns is a gift. I wonder if Joe's wife has ever even held a shotgun, let alone touch off both barrels.
As a matter of fact, the vice president could have gone on to explain why a shotgun probably is one of the better choices as a home defense weapon--especially if the battle ensues on the inside. The neighbors won't have to worry so much about errant rounds visiting them. And if you happen to hit an intruder at close range, they probably won't be getting up and running off.
