President may or may not produce a budget.
« on: February 21, 2013, 04:42:18 PM »
http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/

Read this today. Sounds like there is gonna be a budget. but if you read the stuff in the meat of it , it dont sound like anything we have seen from obama before.

Quote

We must transform our economy from one focused on speculating, spending, and borrowing to one constructed on the solid foundation of educating, innovating, and building. That begins with putting the Nation on a path to living within our means – by cutting wasteful spending, asking all Americans to shoulder their fair share, and making tough choices on some things we cannot afford, while keeping the investments we need to grow the economy and create jobs.

Did he take this from a Reagan speech or what?
“Owning a handgun doesn’t make you armed any more than owning a guitar makes you a musician.”

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."

maybe i read it wrong, but what i
carry away from that is that some folks don't
have- some have and that's not fair to
the ones that don't.

if it's implying that we should redistribute wealth,
that's crazy. trump and gates and perot and the
like made their money. if i were to magically become
a billionaire at sunrise tomorrow nobody should be
able to take my money either.
that's the way it works and the way it should be.

1) educating: Dept of education; we spend more per student than any other country in the world with the least results.

2) innovating: solyndra, and tesla motors just two of the many that are just .gov failures

3) building: .gov builds beauracracy

4) ALL AMERICANS SHOULDER THEIR FAIR SHARE;  HIGER TAXES ON THE WORKING CITIZENS.

Well its easy to see how the weak minded low info voters just love the guy. you read that sight and you'd never think he was taking the country down a path of destruction....unless you had been alive during the last four years.  ::)

But really, read the bold print above. I pretty sure Reagan believed those things and we know for a fact that barak doesn't think like Reagan.

I am already doing more than my fair share. I think its time for the people who live off of other people's taxes and yet pay no taxes themselves to start doing their fair share.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

Good point lakota.

I really dont think people that dont pay taxes should vote.

IT'S  a conflict of interest! To vote yourself money!  or for someone that you think will give it to you.

I'd go one further and say that people who dont own real estate should not be allowed to vote on issues that could raise real estate tax rates either.

They always talk about how now is the time that we must cut wasteful spending and close loopholes. I'd like to know why they had loopholes and were wasting money in the first place?
