New 22 for me
« on: February 21, 2013, 08:30:10 PM »
I got a BSA International MK II off Gunbroker a couple of weeks ago. I finally took it up to the range on Monday and shot it. If figured I'd baby it with a box of T-22's and it shoots better than I do. Then I got out the bag or regular ammo: Blazer, Wildcat, American Eagle, etc. and that rifle likes all ammo. I had to replace the Parker Hale rear adjustable aperture with a Merit Iris disc because the PH's largest size aperture was still too small for my eyes to use. I think this rifle is a keeper!

Beautiful guns. Not likely to move around much on the bags due to recoil, that's for sure.  ;)

Not at 13+ pounds. Just get comfy, get my sight picture and squeeze the trigger. Eject, load, close the block and get comfy again.

Very nice score.  But then I can't remember a Martini I didn't like/want.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus
